Very sad...... someone needs to call bar rescue. The last 3 times we have been there, the service has been horrible. This past time i talked to several of the employees. It is my conclusion that the management is horrible and the owners need to step it up. The sad thing is that this is the only restaurant u can get to by boat on the resevoir. They were out of pretty much everything. I really dont even want to give them my business anymore, but i dont want them to go out of business.
By the looks of these reviews I am glad we didn’t plan on staying long. We just needed a Mountain Dew and a quick break from our motorcycle ride. We brought peanut butter cheese crackers and ate them on the deck. It seemed like they were done for the season. With that said it seemed like a cool place to hang out if you had a boat and were using the boat launch.
Such a bad experience! We were treated like second class citizens because we wanted to sit outside but only wanted to drink and not eat! We were told if someone else needed our table we would be asked to leave! Who does this? Maybe one drink would have turned in to four and maybe some food ?? No one checked on us or asked if we wanted another drink. We even took our empties into the bar for them. Management should be ashamed . I am a manager and would never run my business this way. Boo . Next time I'm in town I will not waste my money here. No thank you. Sorry we inconvenienced you .
The view is the best thing about Docksiders! The food is good and prices are reasonable. The only downside is, don't be in a hurry because the service is usually slow.
Nice setting and scenery. Reasonable food. But twice! we've walked out after waiting more than twenty minutes for a waitress to come by our table. Even approaching the manager didn't help. Never again.
