This is a beautiful park. Currently the earthen dam is being upgraded and the water has been drained to accomplish the repair. The dam repair is scheduled to be completed by 12-2018.
My visit here was short but will be remembered! Found this park on a road trip out to Lake Erie, it was foggy and a little wet but it made for a very cool visit with fog and mist hanging in the surrounding forest. There are hiking trails and a very nice lake, looks like a great place to camp. I will have to make it back out there one of these days!

So peaceful and quiet. Sites are nicely spaced and well kept. We love this place. Have been going there for 6 years or more.

Very pretty park! The camping cottage we stayed in exceeded our expectations. It was in a lovely setting about 100 feet from the lake with good privacy from the other campers. The separate bathroom and shower facilities were also clean and well maintained, the hiking trails were beautiful and interesting, and it's a great lake to kayak! The staff was attentive to campers' needs without being obtrusive. We had a great time!
